These are the most common phrases to ask, when you get lost or when you search for a place:

Examples:
John: Prepáčte, kde nájdem nákupné centrum? (Excuse me, where can I find the shopping centre?)
Fero: Je to blízko centra, približne jeden kilometer od múzea. (It is close to the city centre, approximately 1 km from the museum.)
John: Ako sa dostanem do centra, prosím? (How do I get to the city centre, please?)
Fero: Choďte rovno a pri semafore odbočte vľavo. Potom prejdite cez prechod pre chodcov. Vezmite autobus číslo päťdesiatjeden a vystúpte na zastávke Trnavské mýto. (Go straight and turn left at the traffic lights. Then cross the zebra crossing. Take the bus number 51 and get off ath the bus stop Trnavské mýto.)
John: Kde sa nachádza autobusová zastávka? (Where is the bus stop situated?)
Fero: Je to blízko, za kostolom vedľa policajnej stanice. (It is close, behind the church and next to the police station.)
John: Ďakujem. Môžete mi povedať, ktorá reštaurácia je dobrá? (Thank you. Can you tell me which restaurant is good?)
Fero: Samozrejme, Môžte vyskúšať The Slovak Pub, servírujú dobré jedlo. (Sure. You can try The Slovak Pub, they serve good food.)
John: Ďakujem veľmi pekne. Majte pekný deň. (Thank you very much. Have a nice day.)
