When do we use the futur composé in French?

In English we don't have a relatable future tense that corresponds to the futur composé (English: near future). The futur composé in French is used:

for planned actions

How to form the futur composé

In order to form the futur composé we require

the conjugated form of the verb aller
the infinitive of the full verb

Please take into account that there are no irregular forms of the futur composé in French!
