According to the National Institute of Statistics, the top 5 cities in Romania which are worth living in are Bucharest, Cluj-Napoaca, Timișoara, Constanța, and Brașov. The economic growth, the wages, the number of jobs, and especially the opportunities for leisure activities were the main criteria that made the difference between cities.
1. The leader is, of course, Bucharest. The capital exceeds the rest of Romanian cities through the average wage (which is two times higher than in other cities), the low unemployment rate, and due to the fact that it is a strong university center. 3. The third place belongs to Timișoara. Due to its western location, this developed city attracts a lot of foreign inverstors. 4. Constanța. The Black Sea plays a key role not only in the economy of Constanța but also in the living standard of the people.
