Sign up for freeThe Spanish imperative makes a distinction between an affirmative imperative (imperativo afirmativo) and a negative imperative (imperativo negativo). They are formed differently.
The imperativo affirmativo is used to tell someone TO DO something in a direct manner. More simply put, sentences in the imperative mood are commands.
