Hide1. When to use the past simple tense?
Another very important skill that you should have is to be able to talk about the past. In this way you can tell more about you, your background or you can talk about something you have heard or seen.
We use the past simple tense to talk about: an action performed in a specific time in the past
| Измих чиниите сутринта. | Az izmih chiniite sutrinta. | I washed the dishes in the morning. |
| Той яде сладолед и поничка за закуска. | Toi yade sladoled y ponichka za zakuska. | He had an ice-cream and a donut for breakfast. |
| Не намерихме магазина. | Ne namerihme magazina. | We didn't find the shop. |

Here are some of the most used time markers that indicate the use of past simple tense.

3. Formation and verb conjugation
There are six groups of verb conjunctions in the past simple tense: ИХ-group , АХ-group , Ях-group , ОХ/Е-group , ЕХ-group УХ-group
