Sign up for freeInterrogative pronouns or upitne zamjenice are pronouns that have an interrogative use. In other words 'question words' for example 'Who?'. In Croatian they have the same form as relative pronouns, they only vary in use.
There are six different types of interrogative pronouns in Croatian language.

In declension interrogative pronouns change grammatical cases, they vary in numbers (singular and plural) and in genders.
Remember when interrogative pronouns Tko? and Što? are declined they get the form of questions. The same question form that is used in declension of nouns.
As an example of declension the interrogative pronoun "Koji?" is chosen:

Pay attention that there is no vocative case. And in accusative the form "koji" in masculine refers to non-living things.

Pay attention that there is no vocative case in plural and that several cases have the same form in all genders!
