If a number ends in -uno, it agrees with the noun it precedes. The masculine form drops the -o, while the feminine turns into -una.
Examples:
When not followed by a noun, a number ending in -uno does not change to un.
Example:
A: "¿Cuantos estudiantes hay en esta biblioteca?" ("How many students are there in the library?")
B: "Treinta y uno". (Thirty-one.)
Numbers that end in ciento must agree with the nouns that follow them.
Example:
Hay doscientas mujeres esperando a Enrique Iglesias. (There are two hundred women waiting for Enrique Iglesias.)
Cien is used before mil (thousand) and millones (million).
