* Mí and sí carry the accent mark.
The pronoun sí is used instead of él, ella, ellos or ellas when the subject and object are the same person.
Example:
No puede hacer frente por sí solo a las necesidades de la población. (He cannot cope with people's necessities by himself.)

Prepositional pronouns replace the noun that comes immediately after the preposition.

When used with a, prepositional pronouns have the following uses:
emphasizing the direct object
Example:
A mí no me importa que se haya ido de España. (I do not care if he left Spain.)
making clear who the direct object or indirect object is

- Lo dijo a ella. (He said it to her.)
- Le gusta a él. (He likes her.)
When used with con, the pronouns mí, ti and sí appear in the following forms:

Examples:
The preposition de (which indicates possession) cannot be used with mí and ti.
This type of construction is replaced by the correspondant possessive adjectives (mi, tu).

The subject pronouns yo and tú are used instead of mí and ti with the following prepositions:
