Sign up for freeThe adverbs are being used before verbs, gerunds and adjectives and indicate them in terms of place, time, measure (quantity), question and manner. Turkish adverbs are divided into 5 groups.
The adverbs of manner are formed by adding the suffix forms of '-ce' to the adjective according to the vowel harmony rules and can be found as an answer to the question 'how?' (nasıl?). In English the letters of '-ly' are used to form adverbs from adjectives.

The adverbs of place or direction show the place where the action of a verb is directed to and can be found as an answer to the question 'where?' (nereye?)
