Hide1. Adverbs of manner
The adverbs of manner are formed by adding the suffix forms of '-ce' to the adjective according to the vowel harmony rules and can be found as an answer to the question 'how?' (nasıl?). In English the letters of '-ly' are used to form adverbs from adjectives.
Example:

2. Adverbs of place
The adverbs of place or direction show the place where the action of a verb is directed to and can be found as an answer to the question 'where?' (nereye?)
Example dialogue
- Nereye gitmen gerekiyor? (Where do you need to go?)
- İçeri gitmem gerekiyor. (I need to go inside.)
3. Adverbs of time
The adverbs of time indicate the time of an action and can be found as an answer to the question 'when? (ne zaman?)
Example dialogue
- Ne zaman okula gideceksin? (When will you go to school?)
- Sabah okula gideceğim. (I will go to school in the morning.)
4. Adverbs of quantity
The adverbs of quantity can be found as an answer to the question ‘how much?’ (ne kadar?) and can take a place before or after adjectives, verbs or other adverbs.
Example dialogue
- Ne kadar şeker istiyorsun? (How much sugar do you want?)
- Biraz şeker istiyorum. (I want a little bit sugar.)
5. Adverbs of question
The adverbs of question indicate the meaning of an action through a question.
Examples
- Yemekte ne yedin? (What did you eat for dinner?)
- Onu neden aramıyorsun? (Why don't you call her?)
